The British Academy – the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences – is seeking a Major Donor Fundraising Manager to join the Development Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director and Head of Development to implement the major donor strategy for agreed fundraising activities including prospect research, cultivation and management, developing solicitation plans, building fundraising proposals, planning and managing major donor meetings and supporting and leading high-level ‘asks’. 

This is an exciting time to join the British Academy’s Development Team as fundraising grows within the organisation, providing the successful candidate with an enormous opportunity to make an impact through major gifts. The postholder will be working with a well-developed portfolio of prospects across a number of programmes alongside a dynamic and supportive team.
