Are you passionate about using your fundraising and communication skills to help make a positive difference to millions of people around the world? 

Thanks to the commitment and generosity of our supporters, the Scottish Bible Society help millions of people in over 200 countries and territories around the world to receive Bibles in a language they understand and a format they can use.  We also support transformative projects that teach people how to read using the Bible, contribute to education programmes for children and much more!

This is an exciting new role for someone who is passionate about the transformational impact of the Bible and in the early stages of their fundraising career. You will be keen to learn more about fundraising and communications in a Christian charity setting by getting involved in a variety of tasks.

You will be someone who thrives in a collaborative working environment and is willing to contribute your skills, experience and ideas to help achieve income targets and organisational objectives.  You will relish the opportunity to create innovative recruitment campaigns and develop multi-channel and integrated donor journeys that communicate stories of transformation through the Bible.  You will be driven by the desire to tell these stories so that our resources grow in order to help more people receive and engage with the Bible.

The post holder is required to engage Christian audiences on a daily basis in an organisation with a strong Christian ethos, therefore there is an occupational requirement that the post holder is a practising Christian.

  • Full-time role based in central Edinburgh.
  • Out of normal business hours or occasional weekend work may be required, with time off in lieu in return.
  • Some UK and overseas travel from time-to-time may be required, with time off in lieu in return.
  • Salary depending on experience, suitable for someone at the start/intermediate stage of their career.
