We are looking for an individual to fulfil the newly created post of Community Fundraising Lead in the South Lakes area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to manage their own events and supporters, but also provide leadership for the fundraising team based in the South Lakes.
Location: Highgate, Kendal Fundraising Office
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Work Pattern: 5 days a week
Pay: £25,447 – £26,247* per annum (*depending upon pension scheme).
Pension scheme: 8% employer contribution (*NHS Pension Scheme available subject to eligibility)

Your experience will be in fundraising in the charity sector with a real flair to meet and exceed fundraising/income generation targets. You will possess a genuine interest in hospice work and an understanding of the needs of individuals, families and businesses. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
Flexibility is essential in respect of hours of work as no two days are the same. Previous experience in marketing, communications, events management or public relations would also be an advantage.
