The candidate: The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and self-confident communicator looking to gain experience in fundraising from charitable trusts and companies. We are seeking a creative and proactive individual committed to our values. You will bring real energy and drive to a role that also requires attention to detail, organisational sensitivity and flexibility.

Context: MRF relies on a wide range of income sources to support the charities vital work. Donations from companies, charitable trusts and high value donors (our high value income streams) make up a significant part of our funding, and we are fortunate to have strong and longstanding relationships with companies and other funders, including some of the world’s largest vaccine manufacturers.

In order to support the next stage in the organisation’s development, we have taken the strategic decision to invest in the growth of our corporate, trust and high value fundraising activity with an expanded team. The expanded High Value Fundraising Team will focus on building long term corporate partnerships and securing larger donations and committed funding relationships.

The Corporate and Trust Fundraiser will play a vital role in the team, carrying out in depth research on potential funders, managing a portfolio of small and medium size charitable trusts and supporting the development of new corporate partnerships that are strategically aligned with our priorities.

Purpose: This is a great opportunity to build experience in a range of fundraising areas, in a supportive organisation that is growing rapidly.

The main focus for this role will be developing relationships with charitable trusts and foundations along with new corporate partnerships that are strategically aligned with our priorities. The role is key to supporting the day to day operation of the High Value Fundraising Team and will provide ample opportunities to gain experience across fundraising operations, from carrying out research on individual charitable trusts and foundations, creating compelling applications, developing strong relationships with current and new funders to pitching for corporate partnerships and supporting high value donor cultivation events.

For the right individual, this role promises to provide an excellent foundation for a successful career in high value, trust or partnership fundraising.

Application process: The closing date for completed applications by email is 1st August 2019. Interviews will be held on 5th August. Please see our website for full details and how to apply.
