Are you an experienced Community Fundraiser or Community Fundraising Manager looking for an exciting and inspirational challenge? If so join one of the UK’s most recognisable charities and contribute to the incredible work we do across Sue Ryder.

We are looking for an outstanding Fundraiser to maintain fundraising growth at our Leckhampton Court Hospice as well as build our network of fundraisers and volunteers in order to deliver our vital services to the people of Gloucestershire.

At the heart of this role is the delivery of growth in income through our hospice supporter led fundraising strategy and the continued encouragement and motivation of our dynamic team to smash fundraising targets.

Other responsibilities include:

•  Leading on key projects 
•  Providing excellent management support, leadership and mentoring to our 2 Community Fundraising Officers
•  Proactively seek out fundraising opportunities within Gloucestershire to drive and increase income

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a senior fundraising role whilst adding direct value to incredible work we do. Our ideal candidate will have experience of managing people to deliver against KPIs, a fantastic Community Fundraising background including experience of supporter led income and substantial experience of forming, nurturing and maintaining relationships within local communities.

About us

Leckhampton Court is a Sue Ryder hospice, based just outside Cheltenham. We are here for people aged 18 and over who are dying from conditions like cancer, heart failure and lung disease. We offer a range of support to patients and their families including inpatient care in our 16 bed hospice and through our Hospice at Home team. Our day services are open to those with long term conditions who come along to join in activities and outings. Our expert care team includes doctors, nurses, care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational and complementary therapists, bereavement support workers and volunteer befrienders.
