Nurse 

St Elizabeth’s is situated in 68 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire parkland between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. We support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs of all ages in our Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Home and Day Centre. Over 150 adults and children call St Elizabeth’s their home; making us an inspirational place to do great work. 

Our on-site Health Agency provides a range of Learning Disability, Epilepsy Specialist Nurses, Mental Health and Paediatric nursing alongside therapy to support our residents. We also work in partnership with GP’s, Psychiatrists, and lead Neurologists from both Great Ormond Street and the National Hospital for Epilepsy. Salary: £14.20 to £15.77 per hour (grade 5) / £16.38 to £18.13 per hour (grade 6) dependent upon experience 

About the role: 

We currently have vacancies for Night Nurses (44 hours over 8 nights, and annualised hours of 130 nights per year) plus Day Nurses (37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days; a mixture of early / late shifts to include alternate weekends). These are autonomous roles where no two days are the same. You will be required to work as part of a collegiate, multi-disciplinary team who have the service user’s best interests at heart. 

About you: 

On a day to day basis you will use your nursing experience to assess, plan, implement and evaluate healthcare, working closely with therapeutic and residential staff to ensure a consistent approach. You will have a minimum of 12 months’ post registration experience and a proven background in general nursing skills.
