Director of Fundraising & Marketing

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, inspiring and innovative fundraiser and marketing expert looking to make their mark.  Dorset Wildlife Trust is a sizeable, highly successful conservation charity, that is aiming to significantly grow the income derived from its supporters in increasingly challenging times, both financially and for the natural environment.

You will be in one of our most vital and visible roles, cultivating and stewarding senior-level relationships with existing and prospective supporters, organising high profile events, delivering complex programmes and working intelligently to find new ways to generate fundraising income.

You will bring significant experience of one or more of the following areas: developing membership, regular giving programmes, legacy marketing and/or major donor fundraising programmes.  You will need to swiftly demonstrate your track record of delivering fundraising results and leadership of high performing teams.  This, alongside your sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills, will underpin your success in this senior role encompassing many areas of accountability and responsibility.
