About the role:

A Team Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of excellent operational services and is responsible for the effective values driven leadership and supervision of staff delivering support within services.

You will have considerable responsibility and you will be expected to demonstrate a sense of ownership for the services for which you have responsibility. The person appointed will show a level of judgement and initiative proportionate with the significance of the post.

You will have a caring and supportive attitude towards others, founded on respect and an effective work style that is responsive, adaptable, participative and creative.

You’ve got an in-depth understanding of Person Centred Support and substantial experience of working in a Social Care setting. All you need is the perfect environment to put your skills to great use.

Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to manage services in Rochdale and Trafford (these are separate posts) providing supported housing service for people with Learning Disabilities and some mental health problems. But, we need your help in order to provide the very best Person Centred Support.

About you:

Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as well as being values and outcome driven, able to lead by example using your firm, Values Driven but inclusive management style.

You’re transparent and encouraging too, and have lots of tact and diplomacy. What's more, you're great at managing conflicting priorities on time, have a flexible attitude to working hours and are willing to participate in on call arrangements.
