We are looking for a fundraising specialist to work for 16 hours a month on securing grants from charitable trusts and similar bodies.  The postholder will work on their own initiative at home, liaising with individual committee members on such matters as funding priorities, project descriptions and feedback to grant makers on how the money has been spent.

Background

Our current fundraiser is retiring after more than 20 years’ service and will be leaving as soon as we are able to appoint a replacement.  We envisage offering an initial three-year contract but are open to negotiation.  We believe that the position is an excellent opportunity, enabling a fundraiser the flexibility to work an average of four hours per week from home at an attractive hourly rate.
