Corporate Partnerships Support Officer
Location: Guildford HQ (GU1)
Hours: Full-Time, 35h per week (part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate) 
£18,038 per annum


The Role:

Challengers is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our committed and passionate Fundraising Team as a Corporate Partnerships Support Officer. As part of the role, you will support the Fundraising Team in a variety of projects, appeals and campaigns in order to maximise the fundraised income the Charity receives.

You will work to increase Challengers' profile across Surrey, Hampshire and neighbouring counties by researching and developing new opportunities and existing supporters. As part of the role, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Assisting with the organisation and delivery of fundraising events or activities 
- Working as part of the team to achieve the Fundraising Team's targets
- Keeping track of all the contacts, activities, leads and funds raised
- Developing new effective relationships with a range of Corporate Supporters
- Providing clear and effective communication to all supporters and prospective supporters 

We are looking for somebody who is: 

- Able to adapt their communication style to different target audiences
- Organised and able to work on their own or as part of a team
- Excellent at producing clear and concise reports, and effective promotional material
- Able to travel and work flexibly outside of the conventional working hours (this role will require some evening and weekend work) 
- Exceptional at building a rapport and effective relationships with a diverse group of supporters 

The Charity:

Challengers is a charity with an excellent reputation delivering Play and Leisure services to over 1,400 disabled children and young people across the South East. At Challengers, disabled children and young people play, relax, make friends and truly feel that they belong. At the same time, families with disabled children can use these short breaks to pursue ‘ordinary’ activities such as shopping or spending time with their other children.
