Fundraiser

Masiphumelele Trust Ltd, known as Masicorp, is the UK fundraising arm of the South African charity Masiphumelele Corporation and Trust which was founded in 1999 and is focussed on improving educational standards and school sports in a chronically disadvantaged township an hour's drive from downtown Cape Town. We build, run and help to improve creches, we work in the primary and high schools to uplift exam results and develop sport and we also provide ICDL computer and sewing classes for adults. Our excellent results speak for themselves.

We fundraise successfully in South Africa with a professional team and by volunteers in the USA and in the UK.

We believe we could achieve much more in the UK if we had an experienced fundraiser appealing to HNWIs and major donors.

This would be a home-based position with hours and terms to be agreed. Perhaps more importantly it is an opportunity to help grow a charity, which is making a real difference in this township.
