The Prince's Trust is a youth charity whose mission is to help young people transform their lives by developing the confidence and skills, to live, learn and earn. This year we will support more than 70,000 young people through a range of proven programmes, with three in four achieving a positive outcome.

In this exciting and varied role, you will be responsible for driving forward the corporate new business strategy across diverse sectors including Financial Services, Technology, Media, Travel and Pharmaceutical. Building on recent successes, you will be responsible for developing some of the largest, most exciting partnerships at The Trust.

You will have an income target of £500k+ and support a wider Business Development team target of circa £3m. You will have line management responsibility for 1 Business Development Executive and work closely with the Head of Business Development to create and implement the team strategy.

In this role you will get the opportunity to work closely with our amazing senior volunteers and leadership groups, who advise and open their networks to build the biggest and best partnerships for The Trust. Alongside targeting prospecting techniques, you will have strong influencing skills to harness their support to meet your objectives.

Excellent relationship management skills will be second nature to you, with the ability to relate to people at all levels within potential corporate partners as well as within The Prince's Trust.  You will be organised and a strong project manager, confident in solving problems and securing financial targets. You will be positively encouraged to take a creative approach, building collaborative relationships with colleagues to create the richest proposals for prospects.

With a proven track record of securing six-figure strategic charity partnerships you will have an excellent understanding of both the corporate responsibility agenda and the needs of business.
