Community Fundraiser

An opportunity to join us as a Community Fundraiser and join our busy team at Little Harbour.

Community Fundraiser Responsibilities:

We are looking for an individual with the drive to develop income, build relationships, grow event support and initiate opportunities.

Community Fundraiser Requirements:

You will be an exemplary public speaker, leading volunteer management within the area. Excellent organisational skills and proven success in a relevant role such as fundraising or sales is essential.

You will be based at Little Harbour one day a week, and for the remainder will spend significant time in the community fundraising area of Plymouth & District, North East and South East Cornwall.

This interesting and varied role has a requirement to work at weekends and at different locations across the South West and the UK at times. A full driving licence is an essential requirement.

About Childrens Hospice (South West):

Children’s Hospice South West is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in the South West.

We aim to recruit friendly and enthusiastic staff who are motivated to really make a difference to the lives of the children and families who visit us.

Location: Homeworking and Little Harbour, St Austell (one day per week)

Job type: Full Time, Permanent, One Year Fixed term contract (maternity cover), 37 hours per week to include some weekend and evening work

Salary: £26,708 - £31,358 per annum
