Would you like to make a real difference to the lives of families with critically ill children in hospital?

Our small hardworking team of staff at Ronald McDonald House Glasgow are dedicated to helping those families who need us at the most stressful and vulnerable time of their lives.

We have been providing support to thousands of families with seriously ill children in hospital for over twenty years and we provide a free home away from home for families with children receiving care and undergoing treatment at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.  We are totally funded by donations and are open and staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

For families with a sick child the House is a fantastic haven at a stressful time when their child’s stay in hospital requires them to be close by.

We want you to join our team!

We are looking for a full-time Community Fundraiser to join us as we grow a successful range of fundraising activities and play key role in our success.

What’s involved?

In this new role you will work with our team to develop support for Ronald McDonald House through community fundraising activities and work directly with the families and supporters of our amazing cause. You will assist in all community fundraising activities, including working with schools, local businesses, community groups and individual volunteer fundraisers to maximise fundraising income and raise awareness of Ronald McDonald House Glasgow

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a real team-player with a positive outlook and lots of energy to help us achieve great results for the families who stay with us so you will be a real people-person with an organised approach to work.

Ideally you will have worked in a similar role and fundraising environment for at least three years and have experience of co-ordinating events and volunteers as well as an understanding of the fundraising sector and how to raise funds from the community.

If you have fantastic planning and great and relationship management skills then this is your chance to change the lives of the hundreds of families who stay with us each year.
