Fundraising Manager - Community & Events Relationship

Come be a part of an energetic and vibrant team who are driven by the desire to improve the lives of people living with kidney disease and ultimately find a cure for this silent killer.

Fundraising Manager Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Head of Community & Events you will create lifetime relationships of value with individuals and groups across your designated area in the North as well as contributing to the work of their Relationship Fundraising team by supporting corporate partnerships and major donor fundraising.

This is a great opportunity to play a key part in developing an impactful fundraising presence in a currently under represented area of the UK for a charity with an emotive cause and strong ambitions to deliver more for kidney patients sooner.

Fundraising Manager Requirements:

Our client is looking for a dynamic, passionate and entrepreneurial individual to help create new networks of support across the North of England. Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in a relationship fundraising role, a passion for developing relationships with supporters, and organisations. Enabling supporters to achieve and raise more than they thought was possible, you will have genuine passion and natural drive to deliver results through your strong experience and innovative approach.

About our client:

They are striving to cure kidney disease. A silent killer, it blights the lives of more than two million patients, with a further million undiagnosed. They are the largest charitable funder supporting kidney research in the UK today. For decades the research the charity enables has been saving lives, but there is so much more to do.

They have been shaping and facilitating advances in kidney disease research since 1961, collaborating with other charities and funders to deliver life-changing care to all those affected by kidney disease.

With the incidences of obesity, heart disease and high blood pressure (all triggers for kidney disease) on the increase due to our changing lifestyles, their work is more essential than ever, and they need talented, passionate and caring people to help get to a cure – faster.
