Fundraising Executive

Position: Corporate & Community Fundraising Officer
Location: Winchester, Hampshire SO23 7DU
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience

Our client is delighted to be recruiting for a Corporate & Community Fundraising Officer to join the team based in their Central Office in Winchester.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering against corporate income targets utilising the full range of corporate fundraising streams including Charity of the Year, strategic partnerships and sponsorship. In addition, you will manage and execute a proactive programme of activity to drive growth across the allocated community fundraising streams.

Fundraising Officer Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver successful pitches, prepare and submit persuasive written proposals and conduct negotiations on corporate partnerships to secure new business.
- Manage current and develop new corporate and community partnerships, identifying opportunities to build on the relationships and maximise engagement with employees at all levels.
- Develop and negotiate contracts and partnership agreements with companies ensuring expectations from both parties are met and the interests of our client are looked after.
- Provide regular income and activity reports to the Deputy Head of Fundraising.
- Monitor, analyse and review information on industry trends and developments, keeping the pipeline of COTY applications up to date.

Fundraising Officer Requirements:

You, as our ideal candidate, will be motivated, enthusiastic and eager to join a growing fundraising team and develop your career within Corporate & Community Fundraising. They are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within a fundraising team or similar environment.

In addition, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team or autonomously, are detail oriented and can identify opportunities which will benefit our client. Experience of using Raisers Edge or a similar fundraising database, and knowledge and awareness of the issues affecting older people is desirable, but not essential.
