We are offering a wonderful opportunity for a driven and focused individual to join the Quarriers fundraising team as Senior Fundraiser (Corporate & Events). Quarriers provides practical care and support for vulnerable children, adults and families who face extremely challenging circumstances across Scotland. We challenge poverty and inequality of opportunity to bring about positive changes in people’s lives.

The Business Development and Fundraising Team raise funds to support this great work and this post will form a new area of focus within a well-established fundraising team.  The post would be suited to someone who is ambitious, and has the ability to develop and build strong and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and has the ability and confidence to develop relationships in the fundraising sector.

Quarriers have Investors in People Platinum accreditation and are one of only two social care organisations in Scotland to have this prestigious award.

We are looking for a Senior Fundraiser (Corporate & Events) to support the overall Business Development and Fundraising Department through the maximisation of income in both existing and potential corporate partnerships and Committee events as well as developing Volunteer Groups and inspiring the individual supporter experience. The successful candidate has a number of key objectives and accountabilities including:

  • Develop strategy for engaging Corporate organisations for Charity Partnerships and Charity sponsors for events
  • Develop Volunteer recruitment plans
  • Responsible for contributing to the overall Fundraising monetary targets and volunteer recruitment
  • Work alongside Senior Fundraiser (Major Gifts and Events) to deliver our annual high value event
  • Develop new resources for our Legacy Income aimed at existing and new donors
  • Lead on research and analysis of current and potential prospects.
  • Work alongside the team on supporter engagement events
  • Work collaboratively with all areas of fundraising, grants and business development
  • Work closely with the Head of Fundraising Development with planning and strategy
  • Represent The Charity at external events
  • Develop an understanding of the key aspects of our work and be able to articulate the vision of the organisation in a clear, passionate and confident way

Successful applicants should have a driving license and access to their own transport.
