The Charity for Civil Servants are expanding their team, and this is an exciting time to be joining this highly successful occupational charity. We are looking for high calibre professionals who have the ability to engage and inspire donors so that we can continue offer a wide range of support to the UK’s Civil Service.

The role: 
As an integral member of our national field engagement team and the outward face of the Charity, you will be responsible for income generation and raising awareness of the Charity’s extensive services. The role involves identifying potential new donors to raise vital funds so we can make a real difference to peoples’ lives.

With comprehensive support and a high level of autonomy, we believe this position offers a genuinely attractive and interesting opportunity.  The majority of your time will be field based, delivering dynamic fundraising presentations to serving Civil Servants.

Your key objectives will be to:

  • Identify and secure new donors and build on the existing donor base.
  • Work towards, and achieve, individual and team fundraising targets to support the strategic growth and sustainability of the Charity.
  • Encourage fundraising activity within Civil Service workplaces to support The Charity for Civil Servants
  • Negotiate to gain access to Civil Service workplaces.

What we are looking for: 
Fundraising experience is desirable, and you will need to be organised, self-disciplined and able to manage your own time. A background in sales or business development would be useful. You need to be confident in presenting to a large audience and have a natural, charismatic and enthusiastic personality. Good negotiating and influencing skills are essential.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
