Purpose of Post

FACT’s mission is to enrich lives and shape the future through Film, Art and Creative Technology. You will be joining our team at an exciting time in the organisation’s development! The Head of Development will work closely with the CEO/Director, who joined the organisation in May 2019, and the new leadership team to identify, develop and implement opportunities for income generation in line with FACT’s Business Plan.

This role will be particularly focused on diversifying and growing income to help strengthen FACT’s business model, coordinating our upcoming Band 3 Arts Council England National Portfolio application, and leading on our capital fundraising campaign. The role will also be key in managing stakeholders including: local government, public funding distributors, trusts and foundations, EU funding, corporates and other strategic relationships.

The Head of Development will lead the Senior Management Team in the coordination and management of all bid writing and fundraising across the organisation, and take a lead role in the development, implementation and management of initiatives to maximise both contributed and earned income.
