This new and exciting role at MRG has been created to incorporate individual giving fundraising into MRG’s fundraising strategy. By ‘individual giving’ we mean digital fundraising (through appeals and platforms), potentially direct mail (acquisition and retention) as well as legacy work and high-value fundraising from corporate partners and major donors.

This is a unique opportunity to develop and drive digital income through platforms and channels, embedding digital skills across our fundraising function, as well as using meaningful data and insights to drive positive change across digital fundraising activities.

As a strong digital all-rounder, you must have hands-on experience in a wide range of digital marketing channels and platforms, as well as the ability to translate stats into meaningful insights to influence change and drive action.

You will contribute to the design and delivery of a donor acquisition and retention programme, helping us understand and attract new, committed supporters who are inspired by our work. You will work to develop individual supporter journeys and donor retention.

You will lead on implementing individual giving campaigns including appeals launched by the organization or responding to external opportunities such as the BBC R4 appeal or Giving Tuesday. NB: MRG will be broadcasting a BBC R4 appeal at the end of October 2020 which you will help to prepare and maximize.

You will contribute to the development of the organization’s high value fundraising efforts targeting potential corporate and major donors.

Last but not least, you will develop a legacy strategy for the organization.

To apply, please fill in the application form and the equal opportunities form from our website and return them by 9am on Monday 6 July 2020.
