Chief Development Officer

The Chief Development Officer will manage the strategic oversight of the charity’s fundraising and communications functions whilst ensuring high standards of engagement with policy makers and commissioners, nationally and in the communities where we work. This role is critical to the ongoing development of the organisation and we need an outstanding leader to deliver our ambitious plans for expansion into new areas and robust income growth.

If successful, you will manage the Development Team to deliver high quality funding bids and further develop the excellent relationships the charity has with its supporters and commissioners. You will also be key in developing new business opportunities in new areas of the UK. You will take the lead on the “pre-discovery” phase of any potential Right to Succeed programme in current and new areas of the UK. Finally you will be expected to represent the charity in key meetings and in the media.
