This is an exciting new role at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, which has been created to develop and implement our Individual Giving fundraising strategy. We are looking for an experienced and inspired fundraiser to join our small team to help us to develop the huge potential for growth in this area.

Bristol A.R.C has been here for pets, for people and for Bristol since 1887.  It is our mission to provide the best possible care for Bristol’s animals in need, treating them with the compassion and respect they deserve.  We remain committed to helping, healing and homing animals for as long as they need us.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to have a direct impact on the development and implementation of our Individual Giving strategy. We are an ambitious organisation with big growth plans, and are willing to invest in new ideas to help achieve our goals.

In this key role you will be playing a vital part in developing supporter journeys’, responsible for recruiting, retaining and developing individual donors, ensuring that we provide our supporters with the best donor experience possible, where they feel valued and informed about the impact they are making.

Working closely with the Fundraising Team, you will develop the charity's Individual Giving strategy to take our fundraising to the next level, growing our supporter database and generating income from both existing and new donors. You will work across all areas of Individual Giving, including Legacy Giving, Major Donors, Appeals, and Regular Giving, and bring experience of driving effective direct marketing activity, delivered on time and to budget, with a focus on maximising income and lifetime value. You will work closely with the senior team to develop and implement multi-year strategies to significantly increase income and other support in these areas, in-line with the overall fundraising strategy.

You will have responsibility for managing your own budget, providing financial reports and monthly KPIs, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including GDPR.
