Director of Development

The Chapter of Ripon Cathedral is seeking to appoint a Director of Development in a newly created post as a key member of the cathedral’s team. We have a clear and ambitious vision for the cathedral’s sustainable future and have made significant inroads in the past few years into achieving that vision.

To build on all this and to accelerate progress, we have created the post of Director of Development. S/he will form, motivate, and manage a new team by merging our existing fundraising, marketing, and communications functions, applying sound methodology and entrepreneurship to each of their activities. They will build on existing successes and accelerate the growth of income across a range of activities in a sustainable manner. The successful applicant will believe in and bring new energy to our ambition and be able to communicate that compellingly to existing and prospect audiences and donors.
