About ACA Philanthropy & Fundraising

Founded by Alan Clayton, ACA Fundraising & Philanthropy works with charities, non-profits and NGOs throughout the UK and internationally.  We currently have over 100 clients over 20 countries, ranging from the largest global NGOs, to national and small regional organisations.

We help our clients develop as Great Fundraising Organisations as defined in the Great Fundraising Report by Professors Adrian Sargeant and Jen Shang. This is an organisation which:

  • Achieves an increase in income which transforms its ability to enact its mission.
  • Sustains and builds upon this growth in income.
  • Derives its income from mission driven donors who gain meaning and satisfaction from their giving.

We have put the research into action and tracked over 350 implementing organisations worldwide. We have crystallised the factors which an organisation needs to prepare a surge in fundraising growth, and our services are now designed to deliver on these needs. In broad terms these fall into the following:

  • Seminars: for teaching, organisation behaviour change and co-creating.
  • Creative: to provide internal focus as well as powerful, donor-centred communications.
  • Consulting: including strategic and tactical advice and projects and coaching and other support services.

We are fundraising thought leaders, speakers and practitioners.

  • We are the largest private funder of fundraising research. We have a close partnership with the Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy and Professor Adrian Sargeant is on our Executive team
  • We work with permanent partners in Norway, Denmark, Holland and Ireland. The network also includes legacy specialists Legacy Voice and The Inch Hotel, Loch Ness.
  • We have permanent staff in the UK, USA and Australia but work across the globe.

The post of Consultant is crucial to building our platform for growth. We are well funded and ambitious for our clients, their beneficiaries, their donors and ourselves.

This role is for you if you are a committed idealist looking for your next challenge. You will benefit from working within a team to deliver excellence whilst developing relationships with your own roster of clients. Public speaking and running workshops are an essential skill you will either have or wish to develop quickly.
