Position: Events Fundraising Manager - Challenge Events
Location: London
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £31,982 to £34,925 depending on skills and experience, plus London allowance of £3,600

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing Challenge Events Team in a new role. You will lead our Trekking team, managing a small team, including 2 direct reports, and over £3.5m income. This is an important time for the trekking programme with bespoke series like Trek26 and Trek Up an important focus for the organisation. This post will build and deliver strategies to grow and develop our trekking products to over £8 million by 2025, maximising our income and brand awareness.

As well as leading your team to deliver to their income and expenditure targets you will be responsible for the development of relationships with key event delivery companies to maximise our current opportunities and build strong internal relationships to gain internal buy in for the trekking programme.

About you:

This is a challenging and extremely busy role in an ambitious and growing team. With a strong background in fundraising, preferably Events fundraising, you will have exceptional leadership and management skills to drive excellence across the Challenge and wider Sports Team. You will have built and delivered a strategy that has driven growth for a product or event programme. You will be data-savvy and have experience of managing complex projects. You’ll be confident in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders, managing these vital relationships to ensure best practice and the best results for Alzheimer’s Society are achieved.
