Donor Acquisition Officer (Digital Outreach)

The Charity for Civil Servants is here for the Civil Service community, listening without judgement and offering practical, financial and emotional support to people who come to us for help. With new fundraising initiatives coming up and development investment secured for the future, this is an exciting time to join our growing and ambitious team.

We are currently recruiting for an Acquisition Officer (Digital Outreach), who will be responsible for securing new supporters for the Charity. This will be achieved by delivering presentations across the Civil Service community via a range of digital platforms as well as exploring and testing new acquisition approaches.

Working in a small, supportive and enthusiastic team, this role will be part of evolving our approach and delivering a sustainable donor acquisition programme going forward.

Donor Acquisition Officer (Digital Outreach) Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need experience of recruiting new donors in single and group settings, ideally via virtual face-to-face channels and methods, and within an employment or workplace-related cause. An understanding of digital platforms such as Teams, Zoom and Google Meet is vital, and in particular how to maximise them for the purposes of outreach and fundraising.

Due to the current situation with Covid-19, all interviews will be conducted remotely.

Hours: Full time 36 hours per week

Salary: c£27,000 per annum
