Fundraiser (West Cornwall)

You will join our busy team at Little Harbour in St Austell as an enthusiastic Fundraiser. We are looking for an individual to manage all aspects of fundraising throughout the West Cornwall area, in line with the overall fundraising strategy.

Fundraiser Responsibilities:

You will have the drive to develop income, build relationships, grow event support and initiate opportunities. You will also be confident in identifying, soliciting and securing long term mutually beneficial community & corporate partnerships.

Fundraiser Requirements:

An exemplary public speaker, you will raise significant awareness of Children's Hospice South West by achieving demanding speaking engagement and other non-financial and financial targets. Leading volunteer management within the area, excellent organisational skills and proven success in a relevant role such as fundraising or sales is essential.

You will be based at Little Harbour, but a significant time will be spent in the West Cornwall area.

This interesting and varied role has a requirement to work at weekends and at different locations across the South West. A full driving licence is an essential requirement.

About Childrens Hospice (South West):

Children’s Hospice South West is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in the South West.

We aim to recruit friendly and enthusiastic staff who are motivated to really make a difference to the lives of the children and families who visit us.

Location: St Austell, with travel in West Cornwall

Job type: Part time, One Year Fixed term contract; 22.5 hours per week (worked over three days) to include some weekend and evening work.

Salary: £26,708 to £31,358 per annum FTE (16,239 to £19,059 per annum for 22.5 hours per week)
