Job Title: Fundraising Officer


Contract: One year fixed term.

Part time:  (21hours p/w)
Salary range: ££ 26,000 (pro rata) (£15,600 actual salary)

Core Arts- a leading creative mental health charity in London  are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to become part of our Fundraising team to assist the Deputy Director in fundraising bids. Ideally we are looking for someone who loves working as part of a team and is willing to learn and support applications for funds.  The role involves fundraising from Trusts, Foundations, Lottery and Statutory funds plus assisting in the PR of the Charity.

The person needs to be organised and efficient, eager to learn about our ethos and personalised way of working. The ideal candidate would have a passion for persuasive writing, they will be excellent administrators with good attention to detail, with an understanding of how the creative arts improves wellbeing. 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills -both written and oral; be happy working independently but also in collaboration with others; have good arithmetic ability. Fundraising experience is preferred but not necessary.  More important is an understanding of the importance of creativity and education to improve adults mental health.
