Dean Farm Trust is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to support the fundraising and marketing of our Charity.  The Sanctuary is growing, and to ensure we have funds to support our residents in their home for life this is an exciting and essential new position within the organisation.

AIM

To support the growth and development of Dean Farm Trust through digital and community fundraising, and marketing avenues.

To promote the charity in line with our Ethics and Charitable aims by developing specific funding avenues.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• To develop and enhance existing fundraising and marketing streams

• To help develop the Charity CRM system and manage donors in line with funding strategy

• To develop and support key projects identified to enhance fundraising activities

• To research and identify potential supporters

• Responsible for innovating and generating new income from digital fundraising and marketing

•             To oversee the growth of online fundraising programs by using effective techniques

• To respond quickly to last-minute needs and changing priorities whilst leading others and meeting timelines.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To be successful in this role you will focus on developing our various existing avenues of fundraising and marketing and identifying and implementing additional new channels of income for the charity. 

• You will embrace the Ethics and Ethos of the Charity, its values and Charitable Aims

• Have a genuine interest in Animal Welfare for all Animals

• You must have experience in all aspects of digital fundraising, media platforms and CRM's     

• You will have excellent knowledge and experience of social media platforms such a Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.     

  • A fundraising and marketing background  is essential

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required

• You will have a proven track record in researching and devising strategies

• Self-motivated and energetic with excellent organisational skills

• A team player that is detail-oriented, organized, motivated and creative

• Can work effectively to timelines and have a completely hands on approach

  • You will be confident using digital analytics tools to monitor and report on outcomes  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of two years in a key fundraising and marketing role

• This role requires someone who can work flexibly with their time

• Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement digital fundraising strategies

• Experience writing engaging and inspiring copy

• Experience with building and maintaining donation forms, and running reports and analysing audience analytics

• Experience of grant writing is desirable

• Understanding of charity sector and associated fundraising techniques

• Competent user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The role will be a mix of working from home and the sanctuary in Chepstow
