Contract: Fixed-term contract for up to three years

East Anglian Air Ambulance is in the planning stages of an ambitious multi-year capital fundraising campaign for a mission critical project that will have a significant impact on its service for the foreseeable future. This role is one of two fixed term roles that have been created for the duration of the capital campaign project.

As Capital Campaign Major Gifts Fundraiser, you will work with the Head of Philanthropy and Capital Appeals and the capital campaign team to manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors. This will include supporting the Campaign Committee and senior staff and volunteers in soliciting lead gifts, securing major gifts through individualised stewardship plans, and carrying out in-depth research/profiling of prospective campaign donors.

You will deliver high quality supporter care to campaign donors and prospects in your caseload, developing recognition plans and making direct face-to-face asks for support as required, to ensure they feel valued by the charity and that all relationships are maximised to their full potential.

With previous experience within the fundraising sector, you will have a proven track record in securing gifts of £15,000+. You will have experience of managing projects with multiple stakeholders, forecasting, planning and setting KPIs, and working with CRM systems.

Recently named in 2023 as one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ in The Sunday Times national awards, you will be joining a truly inspirational organisation. EAAA not only operates with total patient focus but provides a supportive working environment where everyone can develop and make a difference – Together We Save Lives.
