Fundraising Manager

The Eric Liddell Centre is undergoing a significant period of growth, change and development with a new vision for the future, in addition to embarking on an exciting initiative linked to the 2024 Centenary of Eric Liddell’s Olympic Medal winning performance, with our strategic and international partners.

The Fundraising Manager will be a member of our Senior Management Team, will play a key role in developing our fundraising strategy and manage a team of motivated and enthusiastic colleagues. You will lead the work to identify, generate and grow charitable income to underpin the ELC’s work in the community by managing a portfolio of funders and prospects, creatively stewarding existing relationships and maximising opportunities for giving.

You will demonstrate a proven track-record in generating major income through managing a diverse portfolio of funders, strategic developments and staff management. 

The post will suit an energetic person, who enjoys working to create their own success.  There is great potential to grow the role and make a real difference to the Eric Liddell Centre and the communities it serves.  The successful candidate should show a keen interest in and understanding of the Eric Liddell Centre and a passionate belief in our vision and mission.  You will demonstrate a proven track record in generating major income from trusts and foundations and grant funders.  A great team player, with excellent organisational and administrative skills and a positive, can-do attitude, you will be joining us at a challenging stage in our development and this is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and friendly team.
