About Global Witness

For over 25 years, Global Witness has fought to end environmental and human rights abuses driven by political and corporate elites. Through bold and hard-hitting investigations, campaigning, and advocacy, we have catalysed change across the world to challenge the systems that enable these harms.

Today, we continue to focus on abusive actors, misuse of power and financial flows, but have turned our focus on some of the most urgent issues facing humanity: the climate emergency and attacks on civic space.

Our work is needed now more than ever.

About the role

This is a key role to support the growth of our individual giving programme with a focus on UK and European funders. Working in partnership with the Head of Individual Giving, the Senior Philanthropy Manager will identify and engage new major prospect funders, cultivate relationships of existing donors and manage a full portfolio.

About you

You’ll have a creative and entrepreneurial approach with a vision to spot new fundraising opportunities and the ability to cultivate these into successful individual funding.  You’ll bring your  understanding of the UK and European individual giving markets.

Finally, you’ll have a solid track record of working collaboratively and meeting income targets.
