Do you have experience of designing and developing impact frameworks? Do you want to use this experience to establish robust and effective impact and evaluation strategies at a large grant funder in children’s health? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

The Impact Manager will support the Head of Impact to develop a framework for impact reporting to embed evidence from the outputs, outcomes and impact of our charitable activities into our decision making and all our communications, in an effective and innovative way. The role will lead on monitoring success against all our charitable expenditure, including research, as well as our wider organisational strategy.

About the Team

This exciting role sits within the Grants and Impact Department. The team are responsible for ensuring charitable funding supports high quality projects, for monitoring and evaluating funded projects, and providing support to fundraising teams with information on the projects the charity funds.

About You

You will be a creative, dynamic and entrepreneurial self-starter with proven experience in developing and managing the implementation of impact and evaluation strategies. You will also be able to lead and deliver on large projects, with appropriate support, and work closely with important senior external and internal stakeholders.

Specifically, you will have:

- An undergraduate degree in a relevant area, for example impact, evaluation, international development, public engagement, science; or equivalent experience
- Experience of leading on designing and implementing impact evaluation frameworks and reporting
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the impact of research and scientific communication, particularly for charitable organisations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish good working relationships
