The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is a vibrant, international community of young musicians, actors and production artists in the heart of the City of London. Founded in 1880, and located within the Barbican complex, the Guildhall School sits at the heart of one of London’s most dynamic cultural areas. We produce outstanding graduates whose talents light up stages and concert platforms throughout the world.

The Development and Alumni Relations team are looking for an experienced, confident and talented Development Manager to oversee a portfolio of individual prospects and donors, securing major gifts in support of the Guildhall School and its work developing outstanding creative artists and artistic citizens.

The role is highly target-driven, in terms of funds secured and volume of prospect interactions. The focus will be on nurturing successful philanthropic relationships with Guildhall’s individual supporters and alumni. The successful candidate will have substantial experience of major gifts fundraising and meeting personal income targets, as well as having excellent interpersonal and communications skills, plus the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience of working with a wide variety of prospects, including those with an interest in higher education and the performing arts would be particularly welcome.
