Community and Events Fundraiser

Come be a part of an energetic and vibrant team who are driven by the desire to improve the lives of people living with kidney disease. Their vision is the day when everyone lives free from kidney disease.

Reporting into the community and events fundraising manager, you will create lifetime relationships of value with individuals and organisations, developing new opportunities and maximising engagement in existing products.

This is a great opportunity to play a key part in developing and delivering fundraising growth for an underrepresented charity with an emotive cause and strong ambitions to deliver more for kidney patients sooner.

In this homebased role, you will utilise new and emerging technologies to communicate with supporters and your colleagues, speaking to them through their channels. (Restrictions permitting) you will also travel when necessary to support individuals, fundraising activity or to explore opportunities and meet with your wider team.

Community and Events Fundraiser Requirements:

Our client is looking for a dynamic, energetic, passionate, and entrepreneurial individual to help develop new networks of support across the UK. You will have experience of working in a relationship fundraising role, with a passion for recruitment and acquisition of new supporters and developing existing relationships through events and community activity.

You will have genuine passion and natural drive to deliver results through your strong experience and innovative approach to this new era of fundraising engagement. You will have excellent communication skills and thrive in a busy environment whilst also being able to work autonomously, going that extra mile to make the difference.

If you are interested in the position, please complete the application form and submit your CV, together with a supporting statement, outlining why you are interested and how you feel you meet the requirements.

About our client:

They are the leading charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK. Their vision is the day when everyone lives free from kidney disease.

They fund research into all aspects of kidney disease - from understanding the condition, to how they can prevent and treat it. They want to discover better, kinder treatments.

Research has given us life-saving kidney transplants, dialysis machines that filter the blood when the kidneys fail, and drugs to keep us going. But these treatments come at a cost. They can be gruelling, confining, relentless. A transplant is not a cure, they rarely last a lifetime.

Kidney disease still affects three million people in the UK. And one million of those don’t know they are at risk. That’s three million people who are someone’s parents, grandparents, children, friends.

And kidney failure is rising, as are the factors contributing to it, such as diabetes and obesity.

That’s why their work is more essential than ever.

Research is what they do. It is the only way to discover future preventions, treatments and cures. It is vital to keep our loved ones safe. Your support is crucial to make this happen.

They’re here to be heard, to make a difference, to change the future. Kidney disease ends here.
