Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser

You will join them as a Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser to grow awareness and generate funds for their local emergency service and Children’s Air Ambulance. They utilise multiple tools and revenue streams to do this and one of those is fundraising In memory of loved ones and those who are generous to leave them a legacy in their will. They are looking to recruit a Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser who will help grow this area of their Charity.

Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser Responsibilities:

This will happen by delivering a number of different tactical objectives within the role which include:

- Managing their online presence working with their marketing team to grow awareness for Legacy and In Mem revenue streams.
- Create new partnerships with organisations such as funeral directors and solicitors who will help grow their brands.
- Promote the their legacies programme and manage high profile projects throughout the year such as ‘make a will’ week and supporter ‘thank you’ events.

Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser Requirements:

For this role they need someone who has actively worked in a Community Fundraising role and preferably has a good understanding of In-memory and legacy giving. This is a unique way to fund raise and requires a unique skill set which predominantly is based on your communication and relationship building skills. They need exemplary written and oral communication skills, this role is about building long term relationships and often speaking with people who have been through tragic circumstances. With that however comes the ability to turn that loss into a positive for others.

Their objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with their work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies.

They are at the forefront of innovative clinical care and they challenge boundaries. None of this can be achieved without a hugely dedicated team of colleagues, volunteers and the general public.

Location: Rugby with some travel.
