This is a fixed term post for 12 months and the post can be flexible with 4 days per week considered and also with some home working available.

About KIDS

KIDS is a national charity which has been supporting disabled children, young people and their families since 1970.

We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years.  Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

About the role

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager at KIDS you will be responsible for generating income through a mix of new business, an existing portfolio of partnerships and applications to Corporate Foundations.

With staff fundraising partnerships such as our longstanding relationship with Greystar, the international real estate developer, and Langham Hotel, and cause-related marketing partnerships with East London Textiles, there is a solid base of corporate income. With that in mind the main focus of the role will be new business.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Successful development of new five and six figure partnerships
• Account managing existing large corporate partnerships, maximizing their collaboration and income potential.
• Securing multi-year, high-value funding from corporate trusts and foundations.

About you

We need a self-starter who is an experienced relationship builder and confident in delivering five and six figure partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to build a new pipeline and put your own stamp on the future of Corporate Fundraising at KIDS, whilst also getting some warmer leads, such as the leading children’s entertainment company, over the line.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and line managing the Corporate Partnerships Executive the successful candidate will be responsible for a yearly target of c.£220,000. With a new strategy in development, and digitalisation of our services on the cards, there are plenty of opportunities to create new strategic partnerships, and there is real hunger amongst the senior staff to develop corporate fundraising.

We are looking for:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a corporate fundraising role.
• Proven track record of securing high level corporate partnerships or gifts.
• Extensive experience of account and project management
• A highly proactive approach to researching and initiating new business
