About Us

Established in 2003, we are Scotland’s national charity for LGBTI young people, working with 13–25 year olds across the country. We also deliver the LGBT Charter programme to schools, organisations and businesses.

Our goal is to make Scotland the best place to grow up for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex young people. We play a leading role in the provision of quality youth work to LGBTI young people that promotes their health and wellbeing, and are a valued and influential partner in LGBTI equality and human rights.

About the Role

Do you have a flair for writing that captures the imagination? Could you inspire funders to support LGBT Youth Scotland’s life-changing youth work and its mission to make Scotland the best place to grow up for LGBTI young people?

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual with experience in trusts and foundations fundraising to join our vibrant and creative team.

In this role, you will plan, develop and implement trusts fundraising strategies in line with our charity’s strategy and values. You will produce robust and compelling applications, build strong partnerships and manage reporting and stewardship processes in order to raise both core/unrestricted and restricted income.

Applications for full and part-time working hours will be considered with the option of working from home and/or one of our leased offices in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
