Job description

We’re on a mission to inspire and equip every Christian in the UK to live as whole-life disciples of Jesus in every part of their lives. It’s a big mission – and we need a strong financial foundation to achieve it.

Established by John Stott in 1982, LICC is working to help embed whole-life discipleship in the culture of the UK church. We’re a small but vibrant team, and by God’s grace our work has major national impact. We’ve grown significantly in the last decade and plan to accelerate that growth over the next five years.

Now, we’re looking for an experienced and inspiring fundraising leader with the commitment, skills, and ambition to help us exceed our income goals.

The Director of Fundraising will lead our donor relationship strategy to support LICC’s growing impact. From reaching new donors and encouraging fresh donor relationships, to deepening existing connections and maturing our supporter community, the role will drive a major, sustained growth in income.

As well as being an experienced strategist, the successful applicant will be a skilled hands-on practitioner. They will be able to write and present compelling fundraising communications to a range of audiences, including major donors, churches, trusts, and individuals. They will take the lead on growing our fundraising team, putting systems and processes in place to ensure our income goals are met.

That’s where you come in. You’re an enthusiast for the whole-life cause, a self-motivated leader with excellent people management and interpersonal skills, and capable of representing LICC at all levels. You have a proactive, innovative, and collaborative approach – and the commitment and energy to deliver significant and sustainable financial results.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
