About the organisation

We are London Youth. A charity on a mission to improve the lives of young people in London, challenging them to become the best they can. Young people need opportunities outside school to have fun with their friends, to learn new skills, to make a positive change in their communities and to shape the city they live in.

Last year, we worked with over 27,000 young people through our sports development, employability, youth action and involvement, arts and outdoor education programmes.

Throughout our history, community youth organisations have provided a constant lifeline and a vital safe space outside the family and formal education, where young people can develop confidence, resilience and skills.

We look to work with all young people, focusing particularly on those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the kind of opportunities we offer.

About the role

This is an important period for London Youth’s fundraising team as we support young Londoners and youth organisations to navigate their way through the immediate and longer term effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. As part of our response, we are also implementing a longer term strategy to expand our fundraising team and grow our unrestricted income.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is a crucial hands-on role at the heart of the team encompassing both relationship management and new business development with the corporate sector.

Successful candidates must demonstrate their ability to:

  • develop new income generating opportunities, with the completer-finisher skills to ‘close’ the deal
  • compose powerful and compellling applications and proposals for potential partners;
  • account manage relationships with corporate partners contributing more than £100k a year of income;

This is an exciting time to join the London Youth team and a great opportunity to make a lasting and tangible impact on the future success of the charity.

London Youth are an equal opportunities employer.  We warmly welcome applications from appropriately qualified people from all sections of the community and aim to promote anti-racism, equality, diversity and inclusion in all that we do.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
