Community Fundraising Manager 

Fixed term maternity cover (up to 12 months)

£42,815 per annum 

Remote working possible with approximately monthly travel to Derby office base 

As a charity, fundraising and donations are vital for MHA to continue our work in enabling older people to live later life well. Your role as a Community Fundraising Manager is to lead the Community Fundraising team to both deliver mass participation products and support and engage internal and external community fundraisers.

MHAs fundraising is in a period of development. This role will play a vital role to continue to establish and expand community fundraising across MHA.

About the role:

• To lead an effective community fundraising team to deliver income and engagement targets.

• Providing training, coaching and support to staff at homes and schemes in the pursuit of effective community fundraising and engagement.

• Budget management including budget setting (in conjunction with the Head of Fundraising), forecasting and analysis.

• To work collaboratively with operational colleagues to deliver one view of community fundraising in MHA

About you:

• Demonstrable experience of working in a Community Fundraising team, which has included work with volunteers and in relation to events

• Proven experience of relationship management and able to demonstrate relationships have been developed to deliver maximum benefit

• Awareness and understanding of trends, legislation and Institute of Fundraising best practice guidance in relation to community fundraising
