Mission Without Borders (MWB), an international Christian charity, works with over 20,000 children and 9,000 families in Eastern Europe every year.   Our vision is to bring practical and spiritual support, enabling and encouraging people to lift themselves out of poverty, and sharing the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.

We have a bold ambition for the future and recently undertook a major strategic review including a new mission, vision and values. Raising awareness for the work we undertake with children and families in Eastern Europe as well as achieving a significant increase in our voluntary income is vital if we are to respond to the growing needs of those living in poverty.

MWB are investing significantly in the UK and this position is one of several new roles being recruited for, to create a new, dynamic, collaborative and integrated fundraising team reporting into the UK Country Director.

Do you have experience securing grants and major gifts to help fund change? Are you passionate to see people lifted out of poverty and fulfil their God given potential? Trust and Foundation income will be a vital revenue stream in realising our vision.  This role requires a dynamic individual who has the experience to build and develop a Trust and Foundation programme in line with our strategic priorities, writing compelling proposals / applications and securing significant income maximising immediate and long-term income opportunities.

You will be working within a growing UK Country Team as well as MWB’s passionate Field staff. This exciting new position is about building great relationships, both internally and externally, as well as developing a Trust portfolio so you will need to be self- motivated and confident.

The role is based at our offices at 175 Tower Bridge Road, London, SE1 2AG. The hours are 35 per week and the successful candidate will be entitled to 25 days annual leave and a contributory pension scheme. All applicants must be committed to Mission Without Borders’s Christian beliefs.
