The Multiple System Atrophy Trust (MSA Trust) is the UK and Eire’s leading national charity offering vital support to people affected by MSA.  We are entirely funded through voluntary donations and charitable trust grants, providing an information and support service to those affected by MSA and their families at no cost to them.

So very many of our members come to us at a time of great distress, they or their loved ones have been diagnosed with a terminal disease which is almost unknown to the general population. Their situation has been exacerbated during the pandemic, and they crave both symptom management and understanding from people who know about the disease. Our nurse specialists and social welfare specialist play a crucial role in helping them to cope and to plan for their care. We ensure that everyone affected by MSA has access to tailored information and support to guide them and ensure they are not alone in their journey.

Can you help?  We need a dynamic and committed Trusts and Corporate Fundraising Officer who is interested in helping us to realise our ambitions to increase our funding to enable the development of further services for people living with MSA.  You will be a fundraiser with a great track record of raising funds through charitable trusts and corporates.

We are a small charity, so someone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and get involved is just what we are looking for.

Closing date: Wednesday 23rd September at 5p.m. Interviews will be held on Monday 28th September in Canada Water Library building.

Covid 19 – please note extra measures are in place to keep you secure at interview and we will discuss how MSA Trust is changing it’s working practices to accommodate greater home-working if you are invited to interview.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
