The Role

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, Trusts and Statutory, you will build on existing success and grow income from major donors. An expert in your field, you’ll personally develop and manage relationships with major donors, growing the pipeline. You’ll have the support of the Head, plus High Value Officers who support all High Value teams to achieve this.

About You

You’ll have experience of securing significant gifts from major donors and of nurturing and developing relationships in this field. You’ll be a creative and innovative thinker with a flair for identifying supporters’ motivations and finding and articulating the synergy between those motivations and the work we do

We are working to build a more diverse organisation: one where we recognise and promote everyone’s individuality with kindness, and where we harness the value and diversity that everyone brings to help deliver our goals. We encourage applications from anyone who wants to be part of that future. And in particular, we would encourage anyone with lived experience of stroke to apply.

You will be asked to submit your CV and a covering letter of no more than two pages demonstrating how you meet the person specification and what you bring to the role in terms of your skills and experience.

In return…

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke and to raise stroke awareness in the local population. We offer a host of amazing benefits and flexible working options, with opportunities to progress your career.
