As a Charity we are able to be creative, fleet of foot and inspiring in our approach to our services and how we work together. Our CARE values are embedded throughout the organisation –

 Care, Acceptance, Resilience and Empathy.

Nottinghamshire Hospice is a small and dynamic charity that sits at the heart of our communities.  We lead the provision of compassionate, community palliative care to those who are dying from a terminal or life limiting illness.  We are able to offer the opportunity to join our successful income generation team at an exciting point in our organisation’s development of new care services.  You will be responsible for creating a legacy income development programme of activity to both increase pledges made to the hospice and increase income across in-memory giving opportunities.

The successful candidate will use their networking skills to develop relationships with Solicitors, Will Writers and Funeral Directors, as well as those individuals who specifically choose to support the Hospice through a gift in their Will. Excellent internal communications skills are required to facilitate conversations around asking for gifts in wills with colleagues around the organisation. The role will report to the Individual Giving Fundraiser and will therefore compliment the relationships the hospice holds with all our individual supporters.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, experienced Legacy Fundraiser to make a real impact on the long-term income development plan at Nottinghamshire Hospice, supporting the continuing development of our care delivery to patients and families in our communities.
