Fundraising Manager

Our Fundraising Manager will play a vital role in overseeing and enabling the Fundraising Team to deliver ambitious financial targets on an annual basis. The post holder reports to and will work closely with the Head of Income Generation and Communications to ensure that financial targets are exceeded and that the Supporter Journey at Queenscourt is a rewarding one for all concerned.

Working closely with the Fundraising Team, local supporters and volunteers, the focus of this role will be on effectively planning and overseeing activity that will motivate existing supporters to engage further with us, and to inspire new supporters to get involved.

A key deliverable of this post is to ensure an increase in income generation from our existing Fundraising activity, and to develop new and effective income generation initiatives. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of successfully managing people to achieve targets. As well as excellent people management skills, the post holder will have the ability to cope with a diverse range of tasks and activities, all aimed at increasing the net revenue contribution from Fundraising to the charity. The postholder must be educated up to degree level or have equivalent experience and have a minimum of a level 2 qualification in numeracy and literacy.
