Rays of Sunshine is an award-winning national charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill young people and their families by granting wishes and providing ongoing support in hospital and within the community. Every day of the year the charity gives brave and deserving children across the UK the chance to put their illness on hold and do something they have previously only dreamed of.

The role:

We are seeking a Fundraising Officer who will be key to the day to day running and continued growth of the Fundraising team. You will be the first point of contact for fundraising queries from our supporters, volunteers, and the public, provide general administrative support to the Fundraising team and help develop our fundraising events portfolio. This is a great role for someone looking to develop their fundraising skills in a growing charity.

Requirements:

You will need to be a friendly, outgoing communicator with experience in delivering great customer service/supporter care and great organisational skills. You will also need to have experience in delivering fundraising and community events

What we offer:

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 35 per week. Flexible, agile and hybrid working arrangements, which align with the needs of the role, will be considered.
Salary: £25,000 per annum, plus generous annual leave of 30 days plus bank holidays
