Want to work for an amazing charity and help save lives at sea? We are currently recruiting for a Community Fundraising Manager to join us in the West Midlands.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and growing all aspects of community fundraising for the RNLI in the Birmingham, West Midlands, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire areas as well as on the Isle of Man. We need your help to generate funds to support our lifesaving service.

Interested? Your role will focus on identifying and delivering new fundraising opportunities, events and projects and enhancing relationships with our existing supporters and donors. You will also develop and work with Supporter groups to assist with their fundraising plans and events to ensure they can successfully raise funds to help save lives at sea.

The RNLI is keen to engage with highly motivated candidates with an organised approach who can offer strong fundraising skills, creativity and a passion for maximising supporter involvement and income generation. A background in the third sector is not essential but proven fundraising, events or business development experience, or a volunteer management background is desirable. With excellent communication and relationship-building skills, the successful candidate will be able to look strategically at the area they cover, as well as driving forward fundraising on the ground.

Primarily covering the Birmingham, West Midlands, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire area as well as supporting our Isle of Man development, you will be required to regularly travel extensively within the area, as well as more widely when required. A valid driving licence is required. This is a home-based role so interested candidates should live in the area, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

There has never been a more exciting time to join the RNLI, where every member of staff plays a vital part in saving lives at sea. If you want the opportunity to join a bright and motivated fundraising team in a vibrant, forward-thinking organisation, this is a great step for you.

The RNLI is an innovative leading UK and International charity and there has never been a more exciting time to join. Every member of staff plays a vital part in saving lives at sea.
