The RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch is looking for a Fundraising Coordinator and Legacy Officer to join the team at the new Community welfare Hub, Northamptonshire. We are looking for someone who has the relevant experience and is able to progress the branch forward through profile raising and increasing our fundraising incoming.

This is a varied role that incorporates all aspects of fundraising including (but not limited to):

  • Increase branch income.
  • Event management (including marketing, design of artwork, advertising, event management, first aid, volunteer management, risk assessments, third party organisation, venue, etc.)
  • Grants – sourcing grant opportunities, completing applications with all necessary information and completing the relevant follow up forms
  • Working on building our corporate fundraising base
  • Work to increase the branches legacy uptake.
  • Recruitment and management of all fundraising volunteers
  • Comply with all data protection policies with regards to volunteers, event participants, charity supporters and others
  • Communicate frequently with our charity supporter database, ensuring this is done in a timely manner and does not overlap with alternative communications
  • Manage fundraising campaigns and promotions
  • Carry out all necessary fundraising administrative tasks in order to maintain a clear and effective system
  • Take ownership and manage the charity’s calendar of events each year
  • Working in hand with the branch social media coordinator.
  • Work with retail outlets and community welfare hub staff to promote campaigns and branch awareness.
  • Working with the Animal Welfare team on campaigns and animal specific campaigns.
  • Liaising with the national press office with press releases and liaising with the media
  • Carrying out media interviews when required
  • Meeting financial targets set by the Branch
  • Producing Monthly fundraising reports for the trustee meetings
