Do you have a proven track record of fundraising? Can you think creatively and work proactively?

The Science Museum is underway with its ambitious organisational strategy, Inspiring Futures, which presents exciting opportunities for a step-change in our fundraising strategy. As Senior Development Manager, Trusts, Foundations and Government (TFG), you will be part of the Science Museum Group's successful fundraising team that has a track-record of securing multi-million-pound gifts from leading funders in the UK. You'll play a key role in expanding our funder base, focusing on strategically growing our UK and international funders, particularly those at the six-figure+ level.

As Senior Development Manager, TFG, you will focus on new business opportunities to build and develop relationships with trusts, foundations and public-sector agencies. As we are looking to diversify our portfolio of funders, this is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial fundraiser to explore new avenues for international funding as well as work on developing new propositions like a research fellowship programme. Together with your direct report, a Development Executive, you will also explore new ways of cultivating and stewarding our existing funders.

Joining us, you'll be an established fundraiser who is keen to help shape the ongoing strategy to meet and exceed fundraising income required to deliver transformation of the Science Museum. You will bring demonstrable experience of securing grants of six-figures+ and will have a successful track record in account management. You will have outstanding customer service and communication skills; able to build fruitful and comprehensive relationships with colleagues throughout the organisation and across the grant making sector.

You will be offered excellent benefits, including 27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, BUPA medical and dental insurance, a contributory company pension scheme, an annual season ticket loan and numerous staff discounts whilst developing your career in a world class museum group.
